Introduction of newly arrived whiskey

Kilhoman Distillery is the first "farm distillery" established on the island of Islay in 124 years. The distillery attracts many fans with its unique flavor produced from the peat spreading in the neighborhood of the distillery. This is the third in a series of original casks from the Kilhoman distillery, "Kimhoman," created by the Hiroshima Prefecture liquor trading company "Kimura" and Kilhoman Distillery. In 2018, Peter from the distillery, and in 2022, Maekawa, our brand ambassador, held a Kilhoman Seminar, Kilhoman Night, and Kilhoman Morning in Hiroshima. We are grateful for the opportunity and the gratitude we have received from these events, and we will continue to release Kilhorman products on an irregular basis.

◆Tasting Notes

NOSE: Vanilla and lemon, malt, honey milk, agave, slight pine, earth and wood with peat and sea breeze at first.
PALATE: On the palate, soft peat compared to the nose, salty and slightly buttery with agave and spices, agave syrup, kumquat, then increasing complexity.
Finish: Good toffee, lemon, and agave aromas are also passing through, along with lingering peat. Ripe kumquat and smoke with sweetness as time passes. Elements of tequila cask surround the whole, softly balanced and harmonious.

Ten year old tequila cask finish. From the impression of peat and sea breeze, flavors of agave syrup and kumquat spread and gradually increase in complexity. The sweetness from the tequila cask wraps around the entire bottle, and the softness is harmonious. This is a very interesting product, so please give it a try!
