This year's release is Ken's Choice's third American whiskey, KOVAL Four Grain Single Barrel, from craft distiller Koval Distillery in Chicago, USA.
KOVAL Distillery, founded in 2008 as a craft distiller from Chicago, produces whiskies with a high level of craftsmanship, including organic certification of all ingredients, distillation using a unique hybrid still, and single-barrel bottling only. The whiskey produced by KOVAL Distillery has earned a reputation as one of the top craft whiskeys in the world.
It is an American whiskey that is rarely bottled in the U.S. as well as in Japan, and is a great drinking experience.

◆Tasting Notes

Notes of peppermint leaves, lush catnip ears, oatmeal, red apple peel, charred oak, banana sponge cake in the aftertaste, and barley tea leaves.
Smooth and spicy, with a delicate yet complex graininess, pleasant oak tannins and a long, lingering finish derived from high proof. (quoted from the manufacturer's data)
