■Tasting Comments
The nose offers ripe tropical fruits, a hint of barbecue banana, and peat accompanied by smoky vanilla. The palate reveals slightly damp smoke with tides and iodine, lavender, parma violet, sweet ripe mango, candied ginger, as well as citrus and dried fruit. The finish is sweet with peat smoke and dried pineapple and lingers on the palate.
This rare Islay single malt blends purple flowers with the perfumed purple flowers and fruit flavors that are characteristic of this distillery's 80s.
*Quotes from the manufacturer's data.
This bottle is a certain mower from the 80's, and you should definitely try it while it is still in existence.
Although the wine has been aged for 33 years, the smokiness with a tidal sensation is undaunted and assertive, and the tropical fruitiness, parma violet, and perfume characteristic of this period are present without ever dominating the wine.
Very long aftertaste.
It's a flavor that has its pros and cons, but I felt this bottle was a very good example of a certain moa from the 80s.
Please enjoy it straight and slowly.
