This Tam Dew was distilled in 2007 and has been aged for 15 years in Oloroso sherry casks since February 2021, with further aging in bourbon casks in October 2022.
Because it has undergone two additional ripenings, Tamdew has a very complex and deep flavor.
The aroma is a soothing aroma of Pu'er tea mixed with toffee, with cream of Japanese chestnut, mealy (meaty) nuances, and oregano. The palate is dried fig, blood orange, and maraschino cherry. A hint of mocha coffee also joins in, and the finish has a taste of herbal tea and the smell of rain that has just begun to fall.

Recently, Tam Dew has been gaining recognition as a sherry cask malt! A reasonably priced line is now in stock.
The color makes you think it is sherry for the entire period, but Oloroso sherry cask is used as a finish. You can enjoy the sweet sherry-derived flavors, but the bitterness is kept at a moderate volume, so it is well balanced! We hope you enjoy it!
