Limited bottles for Chichibu Whiskey Festival 2024 have arrived.
This bottling of Azumi is aged in red wine cask for about 5 years! This is the first single cask in a long time!

Tasting Note
Nose: Custard, licorice, almond oil, ink, and later, red fruit notes of raspberry and strawberry cream.

Taste: candy apple, strawberry jam, American cherry, cranberry juice, red currant and chocolate. Gradually turns bitter.

Finish: cinnamon and cardamom spice, wolfberry. Black grape skins, black tea, and pleasant tannins follow gently.

Last year's Islay Cask, Peated Azumi was my favorite, so I have high expectations for this year's bottle.
Although the casks and taste directions are different, we hope you will enjoy Red Wine Cask Azumi, one of the casks selected for the 2024 Chichibu Festival!
