*Quotes from the sales website
Maris Otter barley may not be a familiar name in whiskey making. However, as an ingredient in beer, it has been a favorite variety for many years.
I've been doing some research and I've picked up a lot of beer brewing sites.
Maris Otter was introduced in 1965, mainly in England, and is now considered a classic variety.
Immediately after its introduction, it became one of the leading pale ale barley varieties in England in the 1970s due to its excellent brewing characteristics and the unique "fresh bread, toast, biscuit, and honey" flavors it produces.
Although it was dropped from the official list of recommended species in 1989, it remains a popular barley for ales.
Although the yield is lower than modern varieties, winemakers who value the unique flavors it brings will spend more money to prepare it with Maris Otter.
The Maris Otter of the ale beer world is in close proximity to the Golden Promise of the Scotch whiskey world.
Golden Promise is another legendary breed that was introduced in the 1960s!
We hope you will enjoy the experience while focusing on the differences between the varieties and the thoughts behind the preparation of the wine.
This bottle is available in half shot only.
We look forward to serving you today: ‼️
