Edradower Distillery's Heavily Peated Brand "Bärchen"
Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky, the second largest independent bottler, has been the owner of Edradower since 2002, withdrawing from the original Edinburgh location and now bottling everything at Edradower.
This heavily peated type was born in 2002 when Ian Henderson, who had retired from the Laphroig distillery, joined Edradower in making whisky on the condition that he could make a whisky like Laphroig.
This cask was selected by Shinanoya. The aroma is made from 50ppm malt, the flavor is fishy and soupy, and the aroma is sherry-derived sweet.

The Kabuki label is cute here, and we recommend adding a small amount of water!
