New Whiskey Arrivals

Tokyo Whiskey Library opened in October 2016 and celebrated its 9th anniversary this year.
It is thanks to the sake retailers, the food and beverage industry, and above all, our customers who love Tokyo Whiskey Library that we have been able to continue to move forward into a new era after a period of great change in the world.

As a first step towards further progress, we are releasing a single cask Japanese whisky of our choice.

We have selected a cask from the Kanosuke Distillery in Kagoshima, overlooking the beautiful horizon, to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the distillery.
It is a rare spec that was finished in bourbon cask for about 3 years and then in white wine cask for about a year.
All of the cask samples we were allowed to try were excellent, but the floral and refreshing aroma derived from white wine seemed to make the most of Kanosuke's house style.

Although it is younger than Scotch whisky and has a higher cask strength of 61%, we believe that this bottle will allow as many people as possible to experience the possibilities and enjoyment of a new whisky.
