This is a young and powerful new release from the Ardnamurckan distillery, opened by bottlers company Adelphi in 2014!

The title SEALGAIR NAM BARRLAICH is a Gaelic word meaning "cask hunter.
There are still a few official releases, but the bottle has very interesting specifications.

The aging process goes on for the period of time it is in the cask, whether it is denied or not. Whiskey is a drink that is enjoyed for that long moment of time.
While there is great charm in long-aged and old bottles, I believe it is also our privilege to enjoy whisky at this very moment.

　~ Official Tasting Notes~.
[Scent] Candles, hemp rope, roasted almonds, antique furniture, tailored leather goods, tar and diesel oil, turf soil, tiger balm.
Taste: cocoa, coffee, dry oloroso, sweet ash, caraway liqueur, peat smoke, anchovies, prunes and black currants, nutty and oily texture.
[Finish] Black olive, oolong tea, birch wood, pine resin, and hot spices such as anise and red pepper linger.
Comment] A peat-derived flavor with a diversity of chemicals, smoke, sea, and inland, and a rich sherry-derived flavor that only 1st fill Oloroso casks can provide. The heavy quality of Ardnamurckan, which can accept these flavors, shows immeasurable potential.
