Glenesk 5 years

Glenesk 5 years
We are pleased to present a 5 year old bottle of the now defunct Glenesque, a 1980s release that was on the verge of closing.
■Grenesque distillery
Founded in 1897 in East Highlands.
The distillery, whose form of establishment changed dramatically from era to era, operated as a grain whisky factory until DCL began producing malt whisky.
After a drum malting machine was installed in 1968, the building was used as a mill and maltster until 1996, when it was demolished.
This bottle was imported to Italy by Buton Import in the 1980s and aged for 5 years.
At that time, short-aged whiskies were favored in Italy, and Glenburgie and Springbank were bottled at 5 or 8 years, which are not seen today.
Grenesque went out of business in 1985.
Please try the official bottling of this precious closed distillery 🥃.
