Azumi Yamazakura Single Malt Doppelbock Cask Finish

Azumi Yamazakura Single Malt Doppelbock Cask Finish
■New Whiskey Introduction
The oldest whiskey distillery in Tohoku, Sasanokawa Brewery "Azumi Distillery" in Fukushima Prefecture, has just received a bottle of Barrel Aged Doppelbock Barrel from HOPJAPAN, a brewery in Miyakoji-machi, also in Fukushima Prefecture.
The barrels that contained Azumi's peated original wine will be used to release Azumi Barrel Aged Doppelbock in 2023.
The barrels were then transferred to a 4 year old non-pit Azumi sake barrel for the finishing touch.
The savory and full-bodied malt flavor characteristic of boxtile matches perfectly with the citrus aroma and sweetness unique to Azumi. You can also enjoy a mild smoky flavor derived from the oak. Non-chill filtered and naturally colored. We hope you will enjoy its unique character.
