Created in 2008, two years later it has changed the whisky game!
The King Car Group, which operates the Kavalan Whiskey Distillery, is a Taiwanese beverage manufacturer.
Its flagship product, "Mr. Brown Coffee," accounts for 60% of the canned coffee market share in Taiwan.
Kavalan" is the indigenous name for the Yilan-Lanyang Plain, located in northeastern Taiwan, just east of the Xueshan Mountains.

Kavalan whiskey has won numerous awards around the world in just two years since its birth, thanks to its commitment to using water from the Xueshan Mountains and doing everything from raw materials to production within Taiwan.
Then, in 2010, the company proved that it was the real deal by winning the "Burns Night" tasting competition in Scotland, the home of whiskey, hands down, beating out local brands.

Tasting comment.

Color : Heavy, deep raisin color.
Nose : Smooth aroma of dried fruits, spices and almonds, oak and vanilla.
Taste : Rich and smooth, flamenco atmosphere with dried fruits and spices, plus a slight coffee note.
