WATT Whisky Campbeltown Blended Malt 7 years old
■New Whiskey Introduction
WATT WHISKY's 100th barrel bottling is a blended malt from Campbeltown!
This is a remarkable bottle with a small amount of 28-year-old Springbank in the blend, although it is labeled as 7 years old.
▶︎ Campbelltown
The city was once even considered the capital of whiskey making, with as many as 30 distilleries concentrated in a town of about 5,000 people.
Since the time of World War I, the city has been in rapid decline due to various factors, and today, only a handful of distilleries are in operation.
▶︎WATT WHISKY
This is an up-and-coming independent bottler established in 2020 in Campbeltown by Mr. and Mrs. Watt (Mark and Kate Watt), who each have over 20 years of experience in the Scotch whisky industry. They bottle carefully selected casks with non-colored, non-chill filtering in their desire to provide quality whiskey and rum that everyone will want to drink at a reasonable, affordable price. The director, Mark, has synaesthesia (synesthesia), a phenomenon of human perception that allows him to "sense aromas in colors," and the colors in the logo represent the aromas he senses, giving each bottling its own personality.

Commemorative 100th barrel bottling of Watt Whiskey
This blended malt is made exclusively from malts produced at the Campbeltown distillery, with a small amount of 28-year-old Springbank blended in.
The aroma has a faint hint of smoke and a tidal scent that reminds one of being on a pebble beach.
The flavors transition from creamy custard tart to apricot with an accent of olive oil.
The taste blends Campbeltown-like tidal nuances with smoke and fruit.
