The orthodox malt-making process is underway.
A limited edition commemorating the Ardnamurckan distillery's 10th anniversary is now available.
The non peated malt base wine distilled in 2014 was aged in 100% bourbon barrels, and about half of it was vatted for about a year with a finish in "Paul Lonore" Champagne barrels, which have minerals, acidity and nuttiness.
Tasting Comment
Color: deep gold
Nose: Stunning tropical fruit from the start, ripe mango, cut pineapple, rich honey, grilled banana, brown sugar, fruity gummy on fig, later slowly creamy caramel, toffee, meringue with white chocolate.
Taste: firm and waxy, linseed oil again with honey, warm spices, gingerbread, fresh pie
Naples, cedar wood wraps around. Very deep oil & wax!

It has been as early as 10 years since 2014!
