ICHIRO'S SINGLE CASK BLENDED MALT WHISKYMatured in Bourbon Barrel for Three Rivers
Introduction of newly arrived whiskey
The Chichibu Whiskey Brewery started operation in 2008 in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, and has been making whiskey rooted in the Chichibu climate.
Proud to be Japanese whiskey, we produce our malt whiskey by handcraft with small mills, mash tuns, oak fermenters, and pot stills made by Forsyth of Scotland.
This time, we would like to introduce a single cask of Ichiro's Malt for Three Rivers, produced by Venture Whiskey, the owner of Chichibu distillery, which has now become the world's number one brand in both name and reality with a global reputation.
This single cask for Three Rivers is the fifth in the "JAPAN'S TRADITION" series of limited editions, and this time, as before, it is a single cask blended malt, matured in bourbon barrels, at 57% cask strength. It was bottled at 57% cask strength.
The label is based on the official bottle design and features illustrations based on traditional Japanese culture, art and events (JAPAN'S TRADITION).
For this fifth issue, we have chosen an illustration of a woman in a kimono visiting a shrine.
This time, the blended malt of Scotch malt whiskey and Japanese malt whiskey has a sweet fruity aroma with a sense of maturity that raises expectations from the moment it is poured.
The body is filled with the sweetness of ripe fruit, followed by a pleasant smoke and salt gush from the back.
A supreme blended malt that offers a harmony of fruity and smoky tones! We will continue to use labels designed for various scenes in Japan for future releases, so please stay tuned!

The company name "Three Rivers" is derived from "Mikawaya-san," a liquor store that appears in the nationally popular anime "Sazae-san.
The reason for this is that, like Mikawaya, they want to respond to customer orders, even for a single bottle, to communicate deeply with customers, and to deliver truly good products of their own choosing.
It is a leading Japanese importer that has earned a high reputation and popularity for its high tasting ability and discerning taste.
The company is also actively releasing original bottles, which have become so popular that they are difficult to obtain.
