The Singleton Dufftown Aged 15 Years
New Whiskey Arrivals
The Singleton Dufftown is a single malt that is painstakingly crafted using traditional whiskey methods, craftsmanship passed down through generations, and the quality water of the Spey River. Made at the Dufftown distillery, located in the heart of Speyside since 1896, it is characterized by a very balanced, smooth and approachable taste. The spirit is distilled very gently to achieve a light, fruity flavor. The use of onion-shaped copper pots to distill the spirits at low temperatures also creates more contact with copper, which removes impurities from the liquid. The spirit is then aged in American oak barrels used as bourbon casks to impart sweet nutty flavors, and blended with malt aged in European oak barrels used as sherry casks to give a rich fruity flavor to the perfectly balanced single malt. This process adds a rich fruity flavor to a perfectly balanced single malt. This process adds a rich fruity note to a perfectly balanced single malt.
