From the oldest whiskey distillery in Tohoku, Sasanokawa Brewery "Azumi Distillery" in Fukushima Prefecture
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a limited edition bottle of non-pit malt base distilled at the Azumi Distillery in 2019 and aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from the Aril Winery, Napa Valley.
You will enjoy the rich flavor created by the excellent wine barrels and Azumi Singlet malt.

The Sasanogawa Brewery has been making sake in this area for generations since its establishment in 1765,

▶︎ The bottle has a gorgeous grapefruit-like acidity that is typical of Azumi, with a wine barrel-derived sweetness and berry flavor, making it a very tasty bottle.
