Longrow Red 7 years old Pinot Noir

Longrow Red 7 years old Pinot Noir
■New Whiskey Introduction
Longrow has arrived from Springbank Distillery, aged for 4 years in bourbon barrels and an additional 3 years in Pinot Noir barrels!
▶︎ longrow
Campbeltown, once even called the whiskey capital of the world, is a brand using peated barley (50-55 ppm) produced at the Springbank distillery.
The brand is named in honor of the Longrow distillery, which used to make peated ta wines adjacent to Springbank.
▶︎ Pinot Noir
A red wine grape variety representative of the Burgundy region of France.
The wine will be a clear ruby color, relatively tannin-free, and smooth.
■Tasting Notes
Nose: Herbal aromas of tomato and heather with sweet morello cherry.
Smoky bacon mingles in the mix.
Taste: peat-smoked ham
The sweetness of honey envelopes the fruity taste of grape gummies and sweet and sour raspberry jam.
Lingering: Light, but with a pleasant salty aftertaste reminiscent of the sea breezes that blow into Campbeltown.
*Quotes from the manufacturer's data, etc.
It is a bit young compared to the previous releases, the 11 and 15 year olds, also in Pinot Noir barrels, but it is still a satisfying wine. This is a satisfying bottle.
This is a good choice for both seasoned drinkers and those who are wondering what a briny or salty whisky is. I recommend this product to those who are used to drinking whisky and to those who are curious about what is briny and salty in whisky.
