New Whiskey Arrivals
The Vintage Collection" includes a selection of rare casks, some finished in old wine casks from Old Alliance countries and beyond. At that time, Scotland not only exported whiskey to France, but also imported wine casks for drinking, which were then used to store whiskey.

A bit of history. The Auld Alliance, spelled in old Scottish as ""Ald Allyance"" or in Scottish Gaelic as " "An Seann-Chaidreachas"" and was an alliance between the Kingdom of France and the Kingdom of Scotland.
Even though the Treaty of Edinburgh of 1560 was meant to cancel most of its functions, Mary Queen of Scots refused to ratify the treaty, and the spirit of the treaty continued, with some unwritten support remaining afterwards. The historical ties linking Scotland to France and the rest of Europe have been in place since 1295 and will continue to mark the country's culture and future.
The Vintage Collection represents different regions, different styles of casks, several unique casks, and distillery casks distilled from the same pot still on the same day. Each bottle from each cask is unique.

After a 24-year career in the whiskey industry as a malt master and then blender, Antony McCallum is proud to introduce Glasgow's House of McCallum, which is now fully loaded and ready for release in 2018.

The House of Macallum is a collection of whiskeys that consists of two different types of whiskey: the "Art of Whiskey" and the "Vintage Range" and the "Art of Rum". The Art of Whisky and the Vintage Range, and the Art of Rum. These are limited editions from selected casks for each new annual release. All ranges are bottled in natural color and are anti-chill filtered.

Nose: Smoky venison, chocolate, licorice, light iodine.
Mouth: smoky, oily malt with rich flavors of Christmas pudding and chocolate.
Finish: Fresh. Mint, cinnamon, forest honey.
