Ouzuyama Distillery was established in 1998 by Kuroki Honten in Miyazaki Prefecture.
Kuroki Honten was established in 1885.
It is a well-known alcoholic beverage manufacturer that produces "Hyakunen no Kozo Tofu," "Nakadaka," and "Wild Rabbit's Run.
Ouzu Malt is a Japanese single malt whiskey made from hand-malted barley grown by the "Rebirth of the Earth Society" operated by Kuroki Honten, and aged in American oak barrels.
