Bärächen is a heavily peated whiskey produced by the Edradower distillery, and this time Bärächen 15 Year Old Orange Wine Cask Finish is in stock!

Barrechen is the name of a real distillery that operated from 1810 to 1927 and produced heavily peated whiskey. There is a wide variety of peaty and smoky variations, some with at least 50 ppm malt.
This bottle was aged for 26 months in barrels used to age orange wine from Huelva, Andalusia, Spain, and finished in empty orange wine barrels known as "Vino de Naranja". (Orange wine here refers to white wine soaked in orange peel.)
I think it has a strong smoke aroma, ripe citrus fruit and grilled fruit aroma, full and powerful on the palate, with sweet orange, roasted oak, and ripe tropical fruit sensations. Please give it a try!
