Scotland's oldest independent bottler, Cadenhead Enigma, founded in Aberdeen in 1842, has arrived!

~ Tasting Comments
The nose opens with characters derived from Pineau des Charentes barrels, such as freshly pressed grape juice and brandy, followed by nuts, cherry mint, rye bread and brown butter.
 The palate has the sweetness of heather honey mixed with morello cherries and ripe blackberries.
 Toward the finish, the flavor evolves into a thicker one reminiscent of dark chocolate or gateau chocolat, accented with ginger.

Speyside Single Malt 16 Year Old is a single malt from one of the distilleries in Speyside, known for its family-owned business, and will be aged for 16 years, with the wine being aged in empty barrels of Pineau des Charentes, a French fortified wine from 2020.
