The second small batch for the Japanese market has arrived from Kilhoman!

The composition of the barrels this time is,
Bourbon casks (70%)
Calvados cask (25%)
Oloroso sherry casks (5%)
In addition to bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, the original whiskey was aged in Calvados casks, which is rare for whiskey,
Small batch for Japan only. The phenolic value of the malt used is 50ppm for all three types.
This small batch has a pleasant apple flavor derived from Calvados barrels.

The color is pale yellow.
The nose has a hint of sea breeze smoke, with honey, citrus, apples from Calvados barrels, and gingerbread spreading from the back of the aroma.
The mouthfeel is soft, with honey and vanilla sweetness, with fruity apple flavors, followed by thick peat smoke.
Ginger and oak appear on the finish, and the palate is warm.
